Elie Saab
In my last week in Paris, France for my study abroad program, I had the opportunity to intern for designer Elie Saab for Paris's Haute Couture Week. I assisted with the model fittings, handled heavily intricate luxury dresses, and worked closely alongside the team of Elie Saab which consisted of other designers and stylists.
This internship provided a window to the high fashion world of the industry but this also inspired me as I was able to look closely at the brands experienced ateliers and see how fast and attentive they were to each detail on a gown whether they were doing last minute finishes or changing the garment completely, I was in awe to witness it all and to hope that one day I can achieve those same skills.
